The Costs Of Dentistry

We believe that quality care should be the primary concern regarding dental treatments. However, we understand that the cost of dentistry is also very important. The skill of our dentists and passion for helping families on the Sunshine Coast access quality dental care is why we offer various payment options to make necessary dental care more accessible.

All treatment recommendations are based on your clinical needs and oral health requirements, not on available payment methods.

Our clinic is a preferred provider for HCF, and we are part of smile.com.au. Smile.com.au is partnered with several health funds giving lower gap fees and free membership – a list of funds can be found here. This allows patients access to many benefits and rebates.

We also provide children’s dental care on the Sunshine Coast under the CDBS programme.

For more extensive procedures, our clinic is affiliated with Denticare. This is a personalised payment plan for dental procedures that requires little or no complicated contracts or credit checks.

Our sleep dentistry service may reduce the number of visits required for some procedures, which can help manage both time and costs when clinically appropriate.

What We Offer – Super Release Dentist Services

For medically necessary dental treatments, we work with SuperCare to help eligible patients who may need to access their superannuation under strict regulatory guidelines (SIS Regulations 1994 – REG 6.19A).

Important: Super release is available only for treatments that are clinically necessary for your oral health. This programme is not suitable for purely cosmetic procedures such as teeth whitening or cosmetic veneers undertaken solely for appearance improvement.

Before Considering Super Release

Your treatment plan will always be based on clinical need, not on available payment options. Early release of superannuation has significant financial implications for your retirement.

We strongly recommend:

  • Consulting with your dentist about clinical necessity and exploring all treatment options first
  • Speaking with a qualified, independent financial adviser before accessing superannuation
  • Exploring health fund benefits and other payment plans as alternatives
  • Considering the long-term financial impact on your retirement and family

How It Works

As a super release dentist, we can provide information about the process of accessing superannuation for medically necessary dental care. SuperCare provides guidance through the application process, ensuring applications meet the required criteria for early superannuation release.

SuperCare works with many of Australia’s dental professionals and healthcare providers, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. The programme operates under strict regulatory guidelines to ensure applications meet medical necessity requirements.

Important Notes:

  • SuperCare is not a financial services company or superannuation fund
  • Early release applications are subject to individual superannuation fund trustee discretion
  • Applications must meet specific medical necessity criteria
  • We cannot guarantee approval of any application

Important: Early release of superannuation has significant financial implications. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified financial adviser before making any decisions about accessing your superannuation. This information is general in nature and does not constitute financial advice.
