Until you can get to see one of our dentists, we recommend the following toothache first aid tips:
- Rinse your mouth thoroughly with warm water
- Use dental floss to remove any food particles wedged between your teeth
- Take an over-the-counter pain reliever to dull the ache. Check with the pharmacist which medicine is best for you - any allergies and intolerances need to be borne in mind, and possible interference with any other medicines you may already be taking considered
