Until you can get to see one of our dentists, we recommend the following toothache first aid tips:

  • Rinse your mouth thoroughly with warm water
  • Use dental floss to remove any food particles wedged between your teeth
  • Take an over-the-counter pain reliever to dull the ache. Check with the pharmacist which medicine is best for you – any allergies and intolerances need to be borne in mind, and possible interference with any other medication you may already be taking considered
